Artist's Comments

So basically, Ken Penders posted up a frontspiece of an upcoming issue of Sonic (#145). He penciled and inked it, and a girl by the name of Amber Greenlee colored it - once a fan of the comic, now turned pro, like Axer, and Dawn Best, and Jon Gray, etc.

I looked at it, and I realized, "Hey, I'm almost that good". So when somebody posted up the image without colors (a flat, black and white image) I loaded it up in PSP and went at it. All in all, I colored on it about an hour and a half yesterday and about four hours today.

I really hope one day I'll get a job that'll involve my artistic talents.

If they could do that kind of effort for every comic...it would rock.
Personally, I think that's a lot better than most of the coloring done in the Sonic comics now...

That came out fantastically! You do as well as (if not better than) them XD Smooth and I love the soft glowy-ness in that tube thing. Very well done

Whoa. o__o You did an awesome coloring job on this.

I question Ken's drawing slightly, though.. XDD Shadow's gloves and shoes are gunna get all soggy in there... Wouldn't it make sense if he wasn't wearin them? Ahh well. (Funky, he's got muscles!)


Very very nice coloring, very smooth. ^_^ The first thing I noticed.

Eee.. I really hope I can be able to get a job that involves drawing as well ;.; Such a dream.. it's so scary, though xD Graduating next year and all that stuff.. I should make a decision of where I'm heading quick. :| Pyo..

But enough self-whinage, this is wonderful ;.;! You colored this very well! Looks comic book-ey xD Especially with the pipe on the tube.. and I'm sure you'll get a job someday that involves your talent ;.; Maybe if you search enough.. or maybe it'll come at the most unexpected of times. You never know..

.. Shadows legs look so bloody weird for some reason xD!! Wow.. I know you didn't draw that.. but that's the first thing that popped into my head ;.; "The.. leg xD"
